Cainiao Post
Cainiao Post solution seamlessly connects third-party-operated parcel collection stations and smart lockers across communities, campuses, and villages to Cainiao’s logistics network. This has facilitated cooperation between station operators and express delivery companies to improve last-mile delivery efficiency. Cainiao currently has the world's largest digital "pick-up, drop-off" network.

Cainiao equips “pick-up, drop-off” stations with smart hardware, advanced technology systems and uniform service standards to help streamline their operations. Consumers can track the delivery status of their packages in real time on the Cainiao App.

In addition, the Cainiao Post solution enables unmanned operations at specific stations, providing package delivery and pickup services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At the same time, we have deployed more than 800 autonomous vehicles at universities and communities to efficiently deliver packages from the stations to consumers' doorsteps. In fiscal year 2023, unmanned vehicles delivered more than 10 million packages.

Am I qualified?

1. Professional station - actual store area ≥ 20 m2, small station - actual store area ≥ 10 m2; 2. No other stations or Cainiao smart lockers within the same service area; 3. The store is fully furnished and decorated; 4. The store is located on the ground floor (same level as the road). There are no restrictions on the floor for office buildings or commercial centers; 5. Willing to adhere to Cainiao training and Cainiao-branded store decoration requirements.
What is purpose of the deposit? Will it be refunded?

In order to ensure that the station fulfills its obligations under the agreement during the process of parcel storage, forwarding, and other business services, a deposit of RMB 3,000 needs to be deposited for the stations cooperating with Cainiao. The deposit will be frozen directly in the connected Alipay account. If you do not encounter any problems when conducting business, the deposit will be unfrozen afterward.
How does the station make a profit?

The basic income of the station is from the parcel business, mainly from the parcel delivery and shipping, subject to the average unit price and quantity in each region. In addition, the customer flow brought by the station's parcel business will also drive income from other commercial businesses.
Parcel logistics income: delivery is between RMB 0.5-1 per order, and shipping is between RMB 3-8 per order. The increase in parcel flow will be converted into store turnover: it will help drive the other businesses if applicable.
Platform rewards and commercial income: Cainiao's monthly index service incentives and business income from group purchases, advertising, recycling, laundry, and other businesses. Click to estimate station revenue.

Currently, there are mainly two types of businesses that can sign up with Cainiao: ①Exclusive store: delivery handling points, individual Cainiao Post station; ②Shop-in-shop: retail - small supermarkets, grocery stores, daily necessities, gift & jewelry, baby care, fruit, stationery store; service - dry cleaners, individual digital equipment stores, property service centers, photo studios.
How to acquire parcel resources? How to join Cainiao post stations?
